About The Role As the Area Sales Manager – Southern NSW, you will be responsible for managing and growing their products through promotional activities as well as maintaining and developing relationships with retail customers and farmers across dairy, livestock, and mixed cropping enterprises. Working in a well-established territory that enjoys strong brand awareness amongst retailers and farmer customers, the role will focus on implementing sales strategies, pursuing new business opportunities, and representing the company locally at industry level.
Your remuneration package will include a base salary, superannuation, vehicle, tools of the trade, and a performance-based bonus.
About The Candidate To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and attributes:
Demonstrated sales experience in agribusiness (ideally seed, ag chemicals, fertiliser, or retail distribution experience) High level written and verbal skills to communicate with farmers and other industry personnel, both on a technical and non-technical level Ability to work independently as well as within a team culture Proven relationship building skills with a strong customer focus and ethic A proactive, structured mindset with a "can-do" attitude Well-developed computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite A current driver's license While not essential, experience or knowledge of small seeds (such as pasture) or the broader agricultural industry will be highly regarded.
This role offers flexibility in location within the territory, with the client open to candidates based anywhere from the VIC border to Sydney. The successful candidate will be required to travel regularly throughout the region. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well-established, market leader in a high value territory.
