About the Role The Area Sales Manager is responsible for maximising profitability, volume and market share through the growth of new unit sales within the territory by building relationships and gaining new business with current and future clients to support our Sydney Branch.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: Achieve profitable unit volume growth through new sales in the sales territory.Develop good relationships with customers in a competitive environment.Promote sales of the company's products to existing customers and seek to establish new contacts.Arrange customer visits to demonstrate the performance and suitability of the company's product.Participate in the planning and execution of programs designed to promote the company's products and sales and marketing activities.Provide feedback to the National Sales Manager - Retail regarding client response and interest patterns.Utilise technical knowledge to assist in the preparation of estimates and tenders in accordance with sales and pricing policy.Arrange the promotion and sales of specialised products and equipment of a technical nature.Ensure technical information and advice regarding the nature and performance of the company's products is provided to customers.Skills and Experience: Tertiary Qualification in Business Sales or Sales & Marketing, desirable.Previous experience in Sales within the Material Handling industry.Experience handling conflicting priorities and working professionally under pressure in competitive situations.Excellent Customer Service & Interpersonal skills.Intermediate to advanced Computer literacy.Self-Motivated.Strong time management skills.Our Commitment: TMHA is committed to the ongoing growth and development of its employees.
