About the role We are looking for a strategic and experienced Area Sales Manager to provide high quality technical & commercial solutions to our expanding customer base, across a wide range of industry sectors. The role would suit someone that is looking for the next step in their career as there is plenty of opportunity to grow & develop within Western Australia & beyond.
The ability to interpret & understand customer needs is key, along with the capacity to devise, communicate & evolve technical solutions to suit. Day to day activities are largely self-driven, but the role is well supported, with high quality technical & internal sales assistance available via experienced peers.
Core elements of the role are: Meeting & exceeding annual sales targets & personal KPIs, whilst providing year on year growthProviding technical solutions which fully meet the needs of customers & stakeholdersPlanning & executing a territory call cycle, which focuses on key accounts & new businessDeveloping and maintaining an opportunity pipeline, to drive acquisition of new & existing MRO businessManagement of multiple priorities, engaging with internal/external stakeholders to ensure successMaximizing sales by cross selling the full WIKA portfolio & associated service offeringsWe offer a friendly culture, great support, & the opportunity to work within an organization in growth mode. Australian residents, with 3-5 years experience in B2B sales of industrial products, ideally instrumentation or related technologyExcellent communications skills, with the capability to relate to customers across all levels of an organizationThe ability to convert detailed technical information into commercial proposals, and confidently present this to stakeholdersA self-driven approach, with a focus on planning sales activities, and researching & identifying new business opportunitiesIntermediate to advanced ERP (D-365) & MS Office suite skills, along with exposure to CRM strategy & useA tertiary qualification in engineering (mechanical/electrical) or equivalent industrial instrumentation experienceYour application will include the following questions:
