As our Category Analyst you will be responsible for providing insight into the dynamics of our regional business performance, through detailed analysis of available Category, Customer & Shopper data sets. The role works closely with the regional Category, Trade Marketing & Off Premise teams to drive aligned category growth strategies and best in class in-store execution aligned to our global ambition.All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:Business & Category ReportingYou will develop and maintain a detailed monthly reporting and dashboard suite, in consultation with area team and global stakeholder requirements. You will also collect and effectively analyse available data to identify trends, performance challenges and market specific opportunity areas. In addition, you will work closely with Brand, Trade Marketing and Key Account teams in post implementation reviews of various Red Bull and Category led initiatives.Knowledge & Best Practice SharingYou will maintain the regional best practices library, and support markets in collating best practice examples. You will also work with the regional Category and Key Account teams to further develop and refine their conceptual selling capabilities. In addition, you will support with training facilitation where required (Category onboarding, Cat Man Lite, Category College).Customer Support & Joint Category PlanningYou will drive the Think Shopper Lead Category agenda through our Global Category Vision and continue to support and provide viable category strategies to the region. You will also support our regional Category and Key Account teams in the preparation of customer facing and internal planning decks. In addition, working with regional Category teams, you will ensure strong category ranging and merchandising standards aligned to our global guidance. You will support markets in identifying the 4-way win, strategies that align with the retailer's overall business goals and our own brand objectives.Trade Marketing Executional StandardsYou will review and assist markets in developing relevant Consumer Activation Programs aligned to the sales and marketing strategy. You will also support markets with development of local execution (GTM) calendars, ensuring focus on 360 activation of key sales and marketing initiatives. In addition, you will review and optimise POSM / VISIT items amongst the APAC region, ensuring efficiency and the optimum availability of tools.Pricing & Promotional EffectivenessYou will provide ongoing evaluation of Red Bull and competitor promotion and pricing strategies across the markets, utilising available scan, shopper loyalty and PET data. You will also support markets with the development of category promotional playbooks, understanding the role of each promotion and how to maximise promotional efficiency. In addition, you will work closely with Category teams to review and develop the Pricing and Promotional architectures across the Red Bull range. Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis, to support market and area team and global stakeholders as requested.Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:Minimum 2+ years' experience within FMCGExcellent analytical skills with an ability to draw conclusions from dataAdvanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skillsPrevious experience with 3rd party data platforms Circana, Nielsen, Euromonitor etc preferredStrong planning and project management competencies with an ability to multi-task and prioritise
