We're looking for an Area Manager (North QLD) to lead, manage, and grow RPI's North Qld operations in contributing to the achievement of RPI's strategic plan.
As the North Qld leader, you would work constructively with RPI's national Executive Management Group, to develop and deliver the North Qld Operation Plan.
Located in our Townsville office, you'll be responsible for:
Develop a new business pipeline capable of delivering growth.Grow (identify, respond, convert) business with existing and new clients.Active development of the RPI brand.Identify and recruit talent to grow the critical mass of the NQ team.Line management, mentoring, and effective utilization and engagement of staff.Maintain a viable and diverse multi-sector portfolio of work.North Queensland project delivery responsibility including performance relative to profitability and client service.Lead key commissions including a billable time commitment.Candidate Profile – Who Is This Role For?
To be successful in this role, you'll need demonstrated experience leading and growing business opportunities within the Property & Build sector.
The successful candidate may be an Area Manager or Branch Manager or hold a similar role within the Construction Industry.
This may include experience with a Project Management consultancy, client-side organisation or as a contractor.
You'll also need:
Proven experience in business development pursuits, with a track record of winning new work and maintaining a diverse/viable portfolio of projects.Strong industry networks and relationships in the Construction sector – your ability to leverage and manage those relationships will be critical to this role.A passion for mentoring & developing staff – this not only leads to growth opportunities for employees, but also better project outcomes for clients.A proactive, ambitious, and enthusiastic approach, to drive sustainable business growth.A demonstrated skillset in strategic thinking, commercial management, and negotiations.Qualifications in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.What's In It for You
