The Opportunity:
A compelling opportunity is currently available for an adept Area Manager to assume leadership responsibilities over our Mackay team comprising of manufacturing and warehousing operators, along with a limited number of in-house service technicians. This role necessitates proficiency in sales, with a demonstrated ability to cultivate customer relationships and devise solutions for new clientele.
As the appointed liaison reporting directly to the Regional Manager, your capabilities should encompass managing labor schedules and guaranteeing the satisfaction of customer needs. Situated in Paget, this role is well-suited for a self-driven and results-focused leader with a demonstrated history of attaining measurable sales successes in the Industrial sector. If your expertise aligns with these qualifications, this opportunity may be an excellent fit for your skill set.
Successful candidates will possess exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing both at the shop floor level and with senior decision-makers. Additionally, strong written and presentation abilities are crucial, coupled with a commitment to achieving team objectives.
The successful applicant will have:
Demonstrated experience in an industrial sales role.Experience in industrial manufacturing / distribution.5 years' experience in managing / team leading.Demonstrated experience leading teams in an industrial environment.Mechanical technical competency.Operational experience with ERP/manufacturing/warehousing systems.Excellent computer skills using Outlook and Office products and ability to learn new systems easily.Must be able to complete a pre-employment medical and a Drug & Alcohol screen.The Benefits:
