About the role
We are looking for an Area Manager for our Junee cluster of country grain receival sites.
You will work closely with the Regional Operations Manager to effectively manage the operational aspects of these sites - specifically our people and operational excellence, grain receivals and out-loading, grower relationships, maintenance, and pest control to achieve GrainCorp's supply chain objectives.

In addition to travel within your cluster of sites you will oversee operations and liaise with Site Managers and their teams.
This role will focus on community representation to maintain and build a profitable market presence.
Your key objectives will be to achieve and maintain financial and supply chain targets, provide outstanding safety leadership, manage costs and identify and act on opportunities to improve productivity.
Finally, but most importantly, you will coach and develop your Site Managers, providing them with the tools to nurture and grow their talent and encourage behaviours that reflect our values by role modelling same.

About your experience
Our successful candidate has solid people management experience, preferably in an Agribusiness environment (though not essential).

You will need a strong track record in developing and maintaining customer relationships and strong commercial acumen.
You will have the capacity to take on responsibility for your own P&L and will demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate people to improve service, safety, and productivity.
Other key skills and experiences we are looking for include;
The ability to increase engagement and drive a positive customer-led cultureA current, unrestricted driver's licence is essential as is the capacity and willingness to travel in your area frequently Ready to apply?
