SCEE Electrical is seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Manager to join our team in Townsville. The Area Manager will act as the primary liaison between our client, Energy Queensland Limited (EQL), and SCEE Electrical. This role involves ensuring that all contract deliverables are met safely, on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring contract schedules, managing risks, and providing comprehensive administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop an in-depth understanding of contract scope, timeframes, financials, and outcomes.
Coordinate contract schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
Prepare action plans that include resources, timeframes, and budgets.
Analyze risks and identify opportunities for improvement.
Liaise with stakeholders to define contract requirements, scope, and objectives.
Report on progress against plan and collaborate with internal teams to meet deadlines.
Ensure client needs are met and standards are maintained through quality assurance tests.
Maintain accurate records and ensure the availability of resources and equipment.
Provide support to stakeholders and prepare required reports.
Foster strong relationships within the business and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
Minimum of 10 years management experience, preferably in the power generation/distribution sector.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with clients, staff, and suppliers.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent computing skills and strong experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to travel to remote areas to support the workforce.
Proven ability to coach and develop teams to deliver project targets.
Experience dealing with regulatory authorities and unions.
Valid Driver's License and Construction Induction (White Card).
Located in Townsville or willing to relocate within SCEE Electricals' contractual geographical area.
Formal management qualifications are advantageous.
