About the opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and outcomes focused Area Manager - Profit Specialist to join our dynamic and close-knit team. In this largely autonomous and pivotal role, you will be a trusted advisor for our farmers, assisting them in driving profitability and ensuring optimal financial performance. Running a flexible routine to achieve these aims, you will work closely with our suppliers to provide strategic insights and support aimed at maximizing their returns and contributing to the overall success of their business.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze financial data and market trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to farmers Consult and collaborate with farmers to identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth Monitor and report on financial performance, ensuring alignment with company goals and targets Build and maintain strong ongoing relationships with farmers as a trusted advisor Work closely with internal cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of farm profitability initiatives Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement About You:
We are ideally looking for individuals that have a financial background in agriculture, or strong banking/finance experience that would translate well to this type of position.
You can also demonstrate:
Proven experience in a similar role within the agriculture or dairy industry (highly regarded) Strong financial acumen and analytical skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Ability to work flexibly and independently to manage multiple priorities and achieve results A strategic, outcomes focused mindset Knowledge of the dairy industry and farming operations is highly desirable Are you excited about this opportunity but may only meet some requirements?
