This is achieved with our multi-disciplinary team providing our participants with empowerment, a sense of belonging, respect and dignity.In our Central Coast / Newcastle region, we are seeking a Regional Manager who has experience leading teams to provide exceptional care for people with complex clinical and behavioral needs.
This role reports to the General Manager - Operations and is a key position within the Maxlife Care management team.The Area Manager will be responsible for the following:Managing the needs of approximately 20 NDIS participants across multiple locations.Leadership and development of a team of Team Leaders and their Disability Support Workers.Managing relationships and reports to internal and external stakeholders.Understanding each participant's NDIS Plan, Budget, Goals and Review dates.Managing key commercial performance drivers – including roster adherence, unplanned hours and overall profitability of each location.Ensuring all aspects of record keeping, training and compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.Ensuring incidents are captured, reported and root-cause analysis leads to improvements.Participate in an afterhours "on call" roster once per week on a roster.Willing to travel for both internal and external stakeholder meetings and site visits to support staff on the ground.The ideal candidate will ideally have:Over 5 years in managing operations/teams across region – ideally within the disability/aged care sector.A strong sense of Purpose and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.Strong commercial understanding – including managing rosters and related drivers that lead to efficient operational outcomes.Understanding of NDIS funding and planning – especially SIL is highly beneficial.Contemporary understanding of issues facing people with a disability, their families and carers.Exceptional written and verbal communication.NSW Drivers License (or similar).Attention to detail and a passion to drive change, improve processes and embed a culture of continuous improvement.Please click apply to begin your journey in our growing team!
