The role You will lead and manage a busy and diverse team spread over several office locations and provide expert advice and deliver on ground land management programs, while administering and managing a diverse range of Crown tenures, reserves, and property management, compliance, asset management and natural resource management functions.
Your outstanding customer service and collaboration skills will see you developing, maintaining, and fostering relationships with key internal and external stakeholders such as Western Lands leaseholders, Crown Land Managers, tenure holders, local members of Parliament, councils and Aboriginal groups.
What you will bring to the role Knowledge and understanding of planning, land and natural resource related legislation and a solid understanding of financial management practices, key commercial drivers in property management. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven leadership qualities, including the ability to manage staff in remote locations. Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with diverse stakeholders across the NSW North Coast region. Self-directed, displays initiative and motivated to deliver practical outcomes. Time management, prioritisation and organisational skills to manage a high workload amongst competing priorities. What is an essential requirement: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or equivalent level of knowledge and experience. Current drivers' licence, with the ability and willingness to travel (including air travel).
