About the role This is an Expression of Interest for an Area Manager - Electrical.
UGL Major Projects division is expecting significant growth for 2025 in Western Australia as we support large Building Services Projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for locals and those open to FIFO and DIDO roles.
Key Responsibilities: Planning, maintaining, coordinating and monitoring construction programs and completion of activities involved in the Project.
Preparing work packages, documentation and quality requirements for tender by potential subcontractors.
Ensure that requirements of the Management System are implemented – especially use of process control plans, auditing of Supplier/Subcontractors and Management of Deficiencies in the works.
Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost to complete and processing of subcontractor and supplier progress claims.
About You Either a recognised degree in engineering discipline recognised OR other relevant tertiary qualification (TAFE or similar).
At least 10 years experience as a Senior Electrical Project Engineer or equivalent delivering large Building Services Projects.
Must have an Australian Drivers Licence.
Experience working on large accommodation villages made up of modular buildings or similar types of projects.
Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
