About the Role: As an Area Leader, you will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day operations, financial performance, and team development across several travel agencies. Your leadership will ensure that all locations deliver on their sales targets, operate efficiently, and maintain outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations across assigned stores, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.Act as a manager in stores without designated managers, addressing escalations and ensuring smooth operations.Regularly visit assigned stores, prioritizing support for locations without managers.Financial and Performance Management: Develop and manage financial plans, including budgets and profitability reports.Monitor store performance, ensuring targets are met and costs are controlled.Analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions.Set individual and team sales targets, mentoring and coaching staff to achieve goals.Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings to review performance and set development objectives.Talent and Team Development: Lead recruitment efforts to onboard top talent.Identify and nurture future leaders, collaborating with the Training Manager for development plans.Manage performance, address underperformance, and celebrate high achievers.Customer Experience: Resolve escalated customer issues in stores without managers and support managed stores as needed.Collaboration and Communication: Maintain open communication with Store Managers to align on goals and strategies.Work closely with the Operations and Training Manager to implement company-wide plans and processes.Collaborate with the marketing team to suggest ideas or request support for promotional activities.What We're Looking For: Key Qualifications: Proven leadership experience within the retail or travel industry.Strong financial acumen, with expertise in budgeting and profitability reporting.A track record of achieving sales targets and coaching teams to succeed.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to inspire and manage diverse teams.Analytical mindset to evaluate performance data and drive improvement.Flexibility to travel to assigned stores (approximately monthly).Familiarity with travel booking systems and industry-specific tools.Experience handling escalated customer issues and complex operations.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Why Join Us?
