IT Full-time **Area IT Manager APAC**Sydney, Australia RESPONSIBILITIES **Areas that play to your strengths**All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:* You will align with the Area Team to drive the design, testing, and deployment of IT services that adhere to architectural and operational standards, ensuring adaptability to APMEA.
You will coordinate area deployments to meet time, cost, and quality requirements, including new office implementations, while participating in project deliveries, budget planning, and process refinement to identify and mitigate operational and project risks.
Additionally, you will conduct testing and ensure the handover of implemented services and solutions is documented according to IT operating standards, establishing a robust operational support framework to reduce risk and minimize the impact of changes.
* You will oversee daily IT service operations, collaborating with technology and vendor partners under the guidance of the Area Team to ensure infrastructure stability, maintainability, and high availability.
You will manage timely device lifecycle replacements in line with IT compliance and business plans.
In this role, you will provide 2nd-level support, troubleshooting technical issues, handling IT operational support, and addressing workplace IT requests.
You will follow standard IT service management processes, managing IT changes, creating documentation, training users, and coordinating escalations while driving service desk process standardization for efficiency.
Additionally, you will drive continuous improvements in end-user computing by generating operational reports, leveraging insights, initiating automation, and performing quality checks on IT tickets and knowledge base usage.
You will also conduct audits to ensure compliance with security policies, promote digital security best practices, deliver security training, and assist with security incident escalations.
* You will develop trusted partnerships with country stakeholders to understand business requirements, capture IT demands, and drive IT compliance across markets.
In collaboration with the Area Team, you will provide architectural input, identify innovation opportunities, recommend technology adoptions, and enhance the overall customer experience.
You will build relationships with HQ teams and global IT partners to stay aligned with global standards, developments, and IT environment challenges while managing relevant IT assignments.
Additionally, you will work with the Service Desk to provide specialist user support, coordinate with Local IT to remediate infrastructure and services, and identify external partners to deploy and improve solutions in markets without local resources.
* You will ensure compliance with standards, stability, and maintainability of global technical infrastructure while driving end-user satisfaction with infrastructure and services.
You will align with HQ and Area Teams on service standards, performance measurements, and roadmaps for deploying services and solutions.
Additionally, you will monitor and report on Red Bull clients, patching status, workplace asset inventory, and address compliance, security issues, and audit findings.
You will oversee the monitoring, reporting, and resolution of priority incidents affecting business operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time with outcomes that meet business expectations.3 to 5 years of relevant experience in associated business segments and relevant technologies.
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems Client & Server, macOS, including AD, InTune, Office 365, etc.
Experience in working in a medium-to-large enterprise environment, including desktop management, basic networking and security standards.
Broad knowledge of IT standards, application and trends.
