We are currently recruiting for an Area Coordinator to join the Bacon Slicing team on afternoon shift in Castlemaine.

About the Role We currently have an opportunity for an Area Coordinator on afternoon shift in Bacon Slicing.
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 2:30 pm – 10:45 pm.
The purpose of this role is to support the Area Manager by effectively making day to day decisions that are specific to your room, area or line of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with production staff to optimise processes where appropriate.
Review production plans with Area Manager regularly.
Ensure start-up & changeover of the room is both managed and efficient.
Have overall responsibility and accountability for the quality of all products from their designated line/area, with particular focus on safety implications.
Overall responsibility for bringing the production team on the journey related to continuous improvement initiatives.
Overall responsibility for management, daily rostering, engagement, expectations, communication, assessment and training, rewards & recognitions for all employees in designated room/shift.
Skills & Experience: Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers, acting with the customer in mind.
Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural change and process improvement.
Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Demonstrated ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels.
Demonstrated resilience and ability to quickly engage with others.
Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
