Base salary will be in the range $130,046- $137,525 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 9)As the ARDC Program Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC) partnership initiatives, focusing on driving health and medical research projects in collaboration with the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS) facilities.
Your role will involve overseeing the entire program lifecycle – from initiation and planning through to execution and evaluation.
You will play a critical role in shaping and managing processes, stakeholder relationships, procurement, and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with ARDC's strategic objectives.This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of impactful research data programs, where you'll manage key project deliverables, foster stakeholder engagement, and ensure the seamless integration of best-practice project management methodologies.If you're passionate about building infrastructure to support health and medical research and excel in program management, this position offers a unique opportunity to drive innovation and support transformative outcomes in a leading research environment.Key responsibilities will include:

Lead the delivery of ARDC partnership programs with research infrastructure facilities, managing all phases of the program lifecycle from initiation to evaluation.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure collaboration and alignment with ARDC's strategic goals to deliver thematic Research Data Commons.Implement governance frameworks to manage project plans, milestones, deliverables and risks throughout the program.Coordinate procurement, oversee contract negotiations, and ensure the program stays on budget and meets financial reporting requirements.The ARDC has extensive experience in co-designing and delivering national digital research infrastructure programs, with data and infrastructure expertise.
The Program Manager sits within the National Coordination Business Unit to support the ARDC's strategic objectives.

Demonstrated experience in managing large, complex projects within the research sector, ideally within NCRIS facilities or a large organisation.Extensive understanding of data usage in health research, including knowledge of the FAIR data principles, data standards and analytics.Strong expertise in applying best-practice project management methodologies tailored to the size and complexity of projects.High level organisational ability, with a track record of managing tight deadlines and competing priorities.Proven experience in leading and developing project teams, including performance management and staff development.The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and a criminal check.Questions?
