Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Engineering) Full time Excellent Package - Base + Super + Security This role will see you work on numerous projects, providing the investigation, design, development, implementation, programming, and maintenance of control system functions for industrial, manufacturing, and government clients.
As a customer-focused professional, you are comfortable working closely with clients, to deliver a range of control systems.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include: Undertake conceptual engineering, investigations, analysis, detailed design, configuration, programming, documentation, testing and commissioning Accept responsibility directly, or through delegation, for the accuracy and quality of Control & Instrumentation design and documentation undertaken directly and for that performed by assigned engineering and drafting staff.
Assist in the development and maintenance of standards and technical procedures Prepare detailed proposals, fee estimates and quotations that fully meet client expectations, as well as minimise risk to the company Assign engineering resources to deliver projects efficiently and cost-effectively, whilst allocating activities to match skill levels Act as coach and mentor ABOUT YOU Working as part of a focused team, you will have the capability to assist and mentor colleagues with your experience, as required.
You will have a positive, yet flexible approach to your day-to-day activities, along with the following technical skills and personal attributes: Electrical Engineering Qualification | RPEQ Certified - Essential Qualifications in Engineering Management and Business Management - Desirable Proven Controls and Instrumentation design experience in an industrial environment Demonstrated Project Management capability DCS Systems – Bailey, Yokogawa, Honeywell PLC Systems – Alan Bradley PLC/SLC/Control Logix, Modicon Quantum, Siemens S7 Strong problem-solving, fault finding and troubleshooting skills BENEFITS AND CULTURE Our client's focus and enthusiasm for mentoring and developing their employees, makes them a company you would want to be part of.
