Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Architectural Lighting Consultant Sales Representative to join our team in Sydney's Northern Beaches. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building client relationships, and providing expert advice on architectural lighting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the architectural, design, and construction sectors.
• Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively promoting and selling our lighting products and solutions.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and project opportunities.
2. Client Consultation and Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice and consultation on lighting design, product selection, and application to meet client needs and project specifications.
• Prepare and present detailed lighting proposals and quotations to clients.
3. Technical Expertise and Support:
• Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and products in the architectural lighting industry.
• Assist clients with technical inquiries and provide support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and ensure successful implementation of lighting solutions.
4. Collaboration and Teamwork:
• Collaborate with the internal design and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing initiatives.
5. Administrative and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project progress using CRM software.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in sales, preferably within the architectural lighting or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of architectural lighting products, design principles, and applications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for sales and business development.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Sydney region as required.
