Position Overview: As an estimator at SSAS ARCHITECTURAL, you will play a pivotal role in our project life cycle, responsible for accurately assessing costs and preparing competitive bids and quotes for commercial window, doors, and aluminium cladding projects. Working closely with the sales team, you will provide detailed and comprehensive estimates and AutoCAD drafting.
Requirements: Bachelor degree or diploma in construction management, diploma in Architectural drafting, related fields preferred or equivalent or trade.Experience in AutoCAD system and Sketch-Up 3D Modeling.Proven experience as an estimator with 5 to 10 years' experience in the commercial construction industry with a focus on windows, doors, and aluminium cladding.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).Ability to analyze drawings and specifications of new jobs to understand the scope of work.Organize workflows and ensure daily production targets are met.Strong communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to work independently.Valid driver's license.Prepare quotes and cost estimates including materials and takeoffs, labor projections.On-site measuring.Summary of Role Requirements: Looking for candidates available to work:Monday: Morning, AfternoonTuesday: Morning, AfternoonWednesday: Morning, AfternoonThursday: Morning, AfternoonFriday: Morning, AfternoonMore than 4 years of relevant work experience required for this role.Work visa can be provided for this role.Expected start date for role: 20 January 2025.Expected salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
