Meridian Caravans Pty Ltd, trading as Wonderland RV, is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson to join our team at our Campbellfield, VIC location in a full-time position. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans to support the design and production of our caravans.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Supporting Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors with planning and organisation tasks specific to caravan design and construction.Interpreting design plans, relevant regulations, and industry codes.Creating preliminary sketches, detailed working drawings, and comprehensive specifications for caravan structures.Drafting, editing, and updating design plans, layouts, maps, and technical drawings.Coordinating project timelines and work schedules to ensure efficient progress.Inspecting materials and completed work for adherence to specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.Estimating project costs and setting timelines and goals for caravan construction phases.Gathering and analysing data using surveying tools for precise measurements.Conducting routine calculations and plotting preliminary data for design refinement and accuracy.Skills and Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.Keen attention to detail.Organisation skills to organize and coordinate project timelines, resources, and workflows effectively.Strong communication skills (written and verbal).Exceptional problem-solving skills and focus.Benefits: Competitive annualised salary and superannuation.Work in a Friendly & Supportive Team Environment.Summary of role requirements: Looking for candidates available to work:Monday: MorningTuesday: MorningWednesday: MorningThursday: MorningFriday: MorningSaturday: MorningSunday: Morning2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role.Working rights required for this role.Expected start date for role: 10 December 2024.Expected salary: $73,150 per year. #J-18808-Ljbffr
