We are currently looking for an experienced 'Architectural Draftsperson' who possesses the necessary qualifications, skills, and experience to help maintain the quality of our architectural designs.
About the Role An "Architectural Draftsperson" at SRH Architecture is required to be very organized, able to work on multiple projects at once, demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, be a creative and trusted problem-solver, and possess the leadership abilities to bring a concept from idea into reality.
Duties and Responsibilities Draw and document new and ongoing interior and exterior architectural projects;Prepare and interpret plans, preliminary sketches, working drawings and detailed specifications, ensuring that designs are feasible for implementation and cost-effective;Demonstrate capability in conceptual design, construction and tender documentation;Support the Design team and construction managers, architects and surveyors;Communicate closely with internal teams and clients;Have an acute sense of management skills to take key initiatives and coordinate projects;Be responsible for conducting on-site measurement accurately and incorporating it into your designs;Coordinate with the councils and clients for the CDC and OC approvals for the architectural design;Have strong knowledge of Council controls and regulations and Australian Standards;Be responsible for keeping a database of existing and any new material/fixtures suppliers;Coordinate with the in-house estimation and projects team for the successful delivery of the projects designed by the team.Qualifications, Skills and Experience Relevant Bachelor's degree or higher;Minimum one year experience working within a similar role; #J-18808-Ljbffr
