Architectural Draftsperson

Meridian Caravans Pty Ltd, trading as Wonderland RV, is seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsperson to join our team at our Campbellfield, VIC location in a full-time position.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans to support the design and production of our caravans.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities: ·        Supporting Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors with planning and organisation tasks specific to caravan design and construction.
·        Interpreting design plans, relevant regulations, and industry codes.
·        Creating preliminary sketches, detailed working drawings, and comprehensive specifications for caravan structures.
·        Drafting, editing, and updating design plans, layouts, maps, and technical drawings.
·        Coordinating project timelines and work schedules to ensure efficient progress.
·        Inspecting materials and completed work for adherence to specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
·        Estimating project costs and setting timelines and goals for caravan construction phases.
·        Gathering and analysing data using surveying tools for precise measurements.
·        Conducting routine calculations and plotting preliminary data for design refinement and accuracy.
Skills and Qualifications: ·        Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
·        Keen attention to detail.
·        Organisation skills to organize and coordinate project timelines, resources, and workflows effectively.
·        Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
·        Exceptional problem-solving skills and focus.
