Architectural Draftsperson

We are currently seeking an experienced architectural draftsperson (set out) to join our team. We specialise in architectural, residential and commercial joinery, manufacturing kitchens, wardrobes, vanities and custom made joinery.
Role/Responsibilities Required: Drafting/set out experience is a mustMust have experience with CAD related software such as AutoCAD & Microvellum (preferred)Able to read and interpret architectural plans, drawings and specifications for each project and determine client's needs and preferencesInspecting work and materials compliance and within regulations/standardsPreparing preliminary sketches, working drawings and specificationsCreating and publishing shop drawingsPreparing sample submissions for approvalSetting up project files for cuttingNesting Production scheduling and coordinating work programsGood communication skillsWork well in a team environmentApplicants must be reliable, punctual and must have a dedicated attitude to the job. Great work ethic, attention to detail and ability to problem solve is also required.
Those with experience in cabinet making or furniture making will also be beneficial for this role. For those that are seeking new opportunities, we also welcome those to apply for the position. Training will be provided in house.
