About Us Godfrey Hirst Australia has over 150 years of manufacturing experience and has now joined the world's largest flooring manufacturer, Mohawk Industries to be able to offer a one stop shop of unparalleled range of hard and soft surface products for all commercial applications.
The Role As an Architectural & Design Sales Consultant, you will have the most comprehensive commercial portfolio in Australia, including Godfrey Hirst, Feltex, IVC, Mohawk, carpet tile, woven, printed, timber and hard surfaces products including the award-winning Lichen Collection designed by Jason F McLennan.
This role will see you maintain relationships and provide services to nominated architect or design firms, and commercial customers in Victoria. As we have the best custom commercial carpet design and manufacturing capability in the world, you'll obtain specifications, promote our products, keep architects and customers informed as to products and prices, seek tender opportunities, prepare dossiers for quoting, prepare and monitor tenders, and structure prices to achieve sales. 
Whilst the focus of this position is architectural specification, there will be a requirement to assist in the sale of flooring via contractor or retailer channels from time to time.
You will be utilising your ability to build strong relationships and networks, to increase business with existing clients, develop new business opportunities and actively seek out new or proposed A&D projects. As a global leader, we have the capability to offer the largest selection of flooring in the industry.
About You We are seeking someone who is a polished and credible sales professional, who is highly driven and motivated, has exceptional presentation skills, with great ability to form mutually beneficial relationships with the Melbourne design firms, constructors, and commercial customers.
This would be ideally suited to someone with a strong background in sales, who understands sales workflows and time pressures, and can relate to the needs and requirements of our clients. You must have the ability to liaise confidently with clients regarding their current and future projects/flooring specifications.
Our salary package includes a fully maintained vehicle, and incentive scheme (based on experience).
