Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
•A tertiary qualification in Architecture with strong experience coordinating medium to large scale projects
•Technical and design focused role
•Experience with retail, commercial and industrial type projects beneficial
•Demonstrated experience in design development, production of working drawings, and construction documents
•Excellent communication skills and experience with client and consultant interactions
•A self-motivated focus on achieving project deadlines, with an ability to work independently
•Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
•A sound knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
•Technical experience with Australian Standard Design Codes of Practice.
•Some site experience would be preferred and a practical attitude to solving construction related problems
•Proactive problem-solving capability
•Attention to detail and accuracy in all facets of work
•Excellent organisational and time management skills
•Strong sense of teamwork and works well in a team environment.
Duties Include Technical Expertise and Quality of Work
•Assist with providing Revit modelling, detailing and documentation of projects.
•Assisting others to understand the correct method of detailing for projects.
•Look for new technologies that can be incorporated into our workflow to reduce errors and efficiency in our documentation of projects
•Manage documentation of projects & liaise with consultants and clients
•Seek review of project outcomes from senior engineers, architects and design managers.
•Adhere to company guidelines for task management to ensure works are undertaken and services delivered to a high standard.
•Ensure all aspects of the quality management system are followed.
•Monitor project efficiency by reviewing performance against budget.
Internal Relationships
•Liaise closely with team regarding project outputs.
•Attend meetings and participate in decision making as a team member.
•Communicate in an effective and professional manner, both verbal and non-verbal.
Client Relationships
•Build and maintain close relationships with clients, in association with the BIM Manager, architects, engineers and design managers.
•Attend meetings and provide professional advice as required.
•Provide excellence in customer service to ensure client expectations are exceeded.
•Demonstrate a genuine interest and commitment towards outcomes, ensuring customer objectives are met at minimum acceptable technical standards.
Continuous Improvement
•Attend conferences and events as required.
•Participate in training to assist with professional development
Business Development
•Maintain a profile in the industry by participation at relevant events and involvement on committees that will assist with business growth and exposure.
•Project a positive and professional company image
General
•Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety Policy to ensure a safe environment for all employees.
