Full time ARCHITECT / GRADUATE OF ARCHITECTUREA medium-sized architecture practice offering architecture, interior design and masterplanning services within the Education sector. Our studios are established in Melbourne and Auckland with an ethos focussed on people, values, and the impact of our design.About The RoleOur team is looking for a talented architect or graduate of architecture to become a key member of our team.You will have a minimum of 4-6 years' experience working in the architectural industry and have a strong understanding of design, documentation, and local construction knowledge. Knowledge and experience from working on education projects is also desired, but not essential.In this role, you will be collaborating with a range of team staff from students through to director level. The role offers a great opportunity for the successful applicant to both work as part of a larger team, and grow and develop in your own right, leading and delivering projects.You will be a part of varying project types and scales. You will be an integral member of our Revit based documentation and delivery team bringing your knowledge and skillset to exemplar education projects in Victoria and beyond.This role is based in Melbourne CBD and is a full-time role.You will have:A passion for architecture in the education space.Ability to produce high quality documentation and detailing.Tertiary qualifications and industry related experience.REVIT proficiency, with knowledge of other related software favourable.Proven experience in architectural design documentation, with additional experience in interior's documentation considered favourable.Ability to coordinate and understand consultant documents.Knowledge of local Building Codes and Standards.Ability to be adaptable and work in a collaborative environment.Communicate in a friendly professional manner and be part of a like-minded team.What we offer:The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work closely with our team of experienced architects and interior designers in a supportive and welcoming work environment.In the McIldowie Partners studio, we thrive on collaboration not only with our work, but with our people.
