We have forged strong relationships with clients and we are now on the lookout for exceptional designers and documenters who possess an eye for detail and are keen to work within a team that is continually striving to improve their professional services.
We strongly believe in creating buildings that show efficiency in design and construction methods while also improving the landscape of the surrounding area and bringing people together.
Dezignteam specialises in delivering multi residential and mixed use developments and we have grown our practice to a point where we are now looking to bring in additional team members who can complement our offerings while bringing along fresh ideas and experiences.
At Dezignteam you will have the ability to work directly with clients and other industry professionals and gain exposure to major local projects.
About the role You will need to be a motivated and design orientated professional who loves a challenge, with a solid understanding of documentation for a start to finish project delivery.
A typical project will see you work closely with the client and other project stakeholders in creating design and documentation that delivers industry leading results.
You will also have the ability to manage your workflow which will involve working on multiple tasks and projects at any one point in time.
Strong communication, time management and project engagement skills are crucial to move forward with our stakeholders on their projects from concept all the way through to completion.
Effective design and problem solving skills are required while being able to work within a team and provide input within the studio is a critical part of how our office operates.
Skills and experience Formal qualifications in Architecture, Building Design or DraftingIdeal candidate will have experience working within a local design firmDemonstrated design and documentation excellence within architectureDemonstrate drive to establish a reputation as an industry professional and strong work ethicDemonstrated experience in either multi-residential, mixed use residential and or high rise is preferred although not strictly requiredAn understanding of the BCA and relevant Australian Standards along with ACT Planning controls and associated planning documentsStrong working knowledge of Revit is essential with Autocad skills preferredExcellent communications skills and the ability to meet with clients and consultants and execute on deliverablesAbove all, we are looking to bring on team members that have a great attitude, strong work ethic and an eagerness to grow within the industry and gain experience on major local projects while working in and contributing to a great team environment.
