About Our Client:The Company focuses on ecological, bushfire, and cultural heritage projects across Australia, serving various Government agencies and corporate clients. Presently, they operate from offices in Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, and Sydney.
Due to their expanding operations, they are looking to hire a proactive and enthusiastic individual eager to enhance their expertise and skills as a Cultural Heritage Advisor.
The Role: Archaeologist / Cultural Heritage AdvisorWorking with our client will provide you with exposure to complex cultural heritage projects, which includes designing and executing fieldwork, leading technical teams, preparing technical reports, and providing detailed technical and statutory advice on Aboriginal cultural heritage matters. This role will see you working in collaboration with their skilled Heritage team and with their clients, Aboriginal representatives, and communities. You will have the opportunity to mentor and support your teammates and take on direct management of a small team. This position is ideal for individuals who are seeking a company that is focused on sustainable future growth and a role that further develops their technical skill set in cultural heritage management.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills Tertiary qualifications in Archaeology are essential.Current Drivers License and capacity to work outdoors are essential.You should be prepared to work flexible hours, including during fieldwork, and be willing to travel to field locations throughout Australia, although mainly in NSW.Other non-technical skills required include a passion for heritage, excellent communication skills, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a specialist team.If you are interested in hearing more, please click apply with your updated CV and reach out to Dom for a confidential conversation on this role and the Engineering market in general.
