The Opportunity We are currently looking for an experienced Environmental professional to play a key role in minimising environmental and heritage impacts to support Arc and its operations.
The Role Key responsibilities are:
Assisting with the development of systems and processes to support environment and heritage management systems and approvals. Program management of the Environment team's work tasks and coordination with Major Project, Business Development and Maintenance Delivery teams to ensure efficient planning and implementation of works in accordance with Arc Infrastructure's Environment Management System (EMS). Engaging with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to support environmental approvals. Commissioning and managing environmental consultants to prepare environmental impact assessment documentation to support internal and/or external approvals. Scoping, commissioning and program managing environmental consultants undertaking in-field surveys and other studies required to progress environmental approvals and/or business-related queries. Support offset planning and implementation as required for environmental approvals. About You To be successful in this role you should have:
Degree qualified in Environment Science or equivalent. At least 5 years' experience in the delivery or support of environmental approvals under the EP Act and EPBC Act, or a similar role. Project and program management experience preferred. Excellent communication skills to consult effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Excellent report writing and technical writing skills. Previous experience in the rail industry or large construction projects.
