The Company This well-known, prestigious and leading large Private College is highly regarded and very active within its local community, maintaining a reputation for educational excellence. The school maintains a highly supportive management team and great culture, with very low turnover.The Role Join this high performing and highly respected finance team. This vital position is prestigious within the College as you will be acting at the forefront of customer service representing the brand of the school, communicating with the parents/guardians re outstanding school fees. There is also flexibility available in start/finish times. The position is based at their Eastern suburbs base but has hybrid work from home + office arrangements during school holiday periods. Full training and support is provided.Duties;monitoring debtor payment histories contacting new families with no direct debits established contacting all families with outstanding fees longer than 12 months contacting families who've had declined payments entering debtors data into system monthly reporting contacting families with direct debit stop dates Maintaining confidentiality regarding the financial data and information of the College Record all debtor communication in to Synergetic including phone call notes, emails etc. devising payment plans Invoicing/receipting Liaising with key internal stakeholders Other ad-hoc duties as required by Finance and Business Manager
About You Ideally you will have come from a background where you have collected monies from consumers directly, this could be from the Health, Utility, or Banking/Financial services sector. However, candidates with high level communication/customer service skills from other industries are strongly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will need to have a tactful and empathetic approach with collections, and obtain the following:Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) Passion for customer service High attention to detail Commitment to excellent customer service Team player
