About the role This role supports the City's success by coordinating and providing technical assistance for the daily supervision, programming, and delivery of aquatic programs at the Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre (DKHAC).
It focuses on ensuring compliance, fostering engagement, maintaining consistent service delivery, and driving continuous improvement.
Role accountabilities include: Responsibility and accountability for the operational aspects of the DKHAC Aquatic team Develop and implement policies, procedures, audit processes , and key performance indicators for the DKHAC Aquatic areas Manage and oversee continuous improvement of process and procedures Learn more about the role in the position description: Position Description About you You will have proven experience in a similar role in leading, coaching, mentoring, developing, and supporting a high-performance culture, with strong aquatic industry knowledge.
In addition, you will have an aquatic teaching qualification such as AUSTSWIM and Bronze Medallion certification and Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
