About the Position: Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and optimising Aquatec's logistics operations.
The primary focus of this role is to manage the company's transportation and freighting needs. You will ensure that freight is collected and delivered using the most efficient, cost-effective methods, while meeting both internal and external customer delivery deadlines.
Responsibilities: Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transport and storage of goods. Collaborate with suppliers and transport providers to obtain quotes and secure the best rates. Manage domestic and international freight operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and minimising delays. Schedule and monitor deliveries to ensure goods arrive on time. Maintain accurate inventory records in the company's ERP system. Ensure all logistics activities comply with regulatory and safety requirements. Prepare and verify shipping and receiving documentation. Conduct routine checks to ensure packaging, labelling, and shipment accuracy. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency. Communicate effectively with internal departments. 2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination. Familiarity with ERP and logistics software systems. High attention to detail. Strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Committed to continuous improvement and learning. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Effective communication skills (written and verbal). Valid driver's license (required).
