A large Federal Government Department is seeking an APS6 Senior Leasing Officer.
Your new company Large, high-profile Federal Government Department who enhance agricultural industries and trade, and manage the biosecurity risks to Australia. They are currently seeking APS6 Senior Leasing Officer to join their Property and Security Branch.
Your new role Assist to deliver the department's strategic approach to its property portfolio covering property lease acquisitions, management and disposals. Assist to undertake property lease negotiations, acquisitions and divestments. Prepare written submissions, briefs, reports, and other correspondence with stakeholders to support property-related decisions. Undertake procurements required to support leasing, acquisitions, divestments and property related activities. Work in collaboration with the department's Property Service Provider in relation to leasing activities Provide strategic advice and assistance to the Senior Executives and stakeholders based on technical expertise in one or more role specific disciplines. What you'll need to succeed Ideally, you will have a minimum of three years' experience in Commercial Leasing Must have commonwealth procurement experience Strong decision-making ability and communication skills Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders You must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance What you'll get in return Long-term labour hire contract for large Federal Government Department Attractive hourly rate This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your commonwealth leasing experience across the national portfolio.
