The APS5 Officer and APS6 Advisor roles in the Communication and Media Section work closely both within and across their teams to help deliver a high-quality communication service.
The roles are responsible for providing external and internal communication advice and support for the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) and the Australian Institute of Criminology (AIC).
The External Communication Team is responsible for positioning both the ACIC and AIC externally through media management, communication about specific projects, and the management of our online presence (including ACIC website and ACIC and AIC social media channels).
The Internal Communication Team is responsible for implementing the ACIC's internal communication strategy, coordinating content for the monthly internal newsletter and weekly email bulletin, updating the intranet via a content management system, supporting executive communication, and assisting management of internal events.
