Aps Level 4 - Payroll Officer

Payroll Services is responsible for the timely and accurate administration of payroll for the Department and shared services clients. We have a dynamic and fast-paced operating environment which means there is always something new to learn.

Payroll Officers undertake a range of general payroll processing functions and provide advice on payroll related matters. You will work independently and as part of a team under general direction within established parameters, policies, and delegations. The focus is to ensure salaries are paid correctly and on time. You will liaise regularly with managers and staff on payroll matters.

This recruitment process is being used to fill both ongoing and non-ongoing positions. Non-ongoing positions will be offered on a specified term basis for an initial period of up to 12 months with the possibility of being extended for a total period not exceeding two years.
