Job Description: We are currently seeking experienced ASP Level 3 engineers to join our dedicated WSP Level 3 team. This newly created role is focused on the execution of diverse utility and infrastructure projects in NSW and across Australia, supporting key initiatives with Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, and Essential Energy. What You'll Do: As an ASP Level 3 Design Engineer, you will contribute to the design, certification, and delivery of utility infrastructure projects, working collaboratively within our expert team. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing ASP Level 3 design expertise in alignment with utility-specific standards and regulations.Managing the end-to-end design process, including site investigations, concept design, and detailed design.Preparing and lodging essential documentation, including MOS, PDS, SER, EEL, AVS, and design safety reports.Utilising Neara, AutoCAD, and other tools to develop and optimise designs for utility applications.Conducting voltage drop calculations, earthing designs, and constructability assessments to meet compliance and client requirements.Engaging with stakeholders, utilities, and councils to coordinate approvals and certification processes.Mentoring and supporting junior engineers while fostering a collaborative team environment.Building and maintaining strong client relationships, representing WSP with professionalism and technical expertise.About You: To be successful in this role, you will need:
A minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.Membership with Engineers Australia or eligibility to apply.3-5 years of ASP Level 3 design experience with a strong understanding of the ASP Level 3 process.Familiarity with utility-specific standards and procedures, including Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, and Essential Energy design protocols.Proficiency in Neara, SER processes, and software tools for electrical ASP L3 design.Strong knowledge of design safety reports, voltage drop calculations, and compliance documentation.Capability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and produce high-quality deliverables.Effective communication skills to engage with internal teams, utilities, and external stakeholders.A history of delivering successful projects in the utilities and building services sector.How to Apply: If you are passionate about making an impact in the ASP Level 3 design space, we encourage you to apply now and embark on a rewarding journey with WSP.
