Are you eager to use your web dev and UX design skills in a dynamic and multi-disciplinary team? This role within the Engagement Team is critical for enhancing the experience of ADF members and their families when accessing pay and conditions information. You will play a key role in maintaining the high quality of the ADF Pay and Conditions website, which attracts over 470,000 views each year. Your responsibilities will include updating HTML, CSS, and JS, and applying your understanding of UX for regular team activities.
Your role will include:
Providing essential technical expertise in the Drupal content management system, ensuring site performance goals are met. Designing innovative solutions that meet user and stakeholder needs. Supporting research activities including analysing data and creating actionable insights. Undertaking content governance and configuration activities in GovCMS (Drupal). About our Team

This role is situated within the Directorate of Drafting and Engagement, which forms part of a larger branch within the Department of Defence. As a valued member of the team, you will contribute to implementing ADF pay and conditions updates on our site, ensuring a user-centred approach for ADF members and their families who access it.
The team has its headquarters in Canberra but supports flexible work arrangements with members working from home across the central and eastern states and territories. This is supported by occasional travel requirements.
