The ICT Integrity Transformation Delivery Branch focuses on delivering systems and services designed to enhance the integrity of the program and address issues related to fraud and non-compliance. This branch develops and implements ICT solutions to reduce fraud and meet the objectives of recent reviews, aiming to create a more responsive, supportive, and sustainable framework, with a strong emphasis on prioritising individuals with disabilities. The branch plays a crucial role in achieving these goals to improve the scheme for participants, staff, partners, and providers. About the Role
The APS6 Test Analyst will provide comprehensive technical, professional, policy, and operational support and advice for complex problems. The role involves coordinating and assisting with strategic planning, program and project management, and policy development to support the overarching objectives of building an exceptional program. This position requires significant public interaction concerning complex or sensitive issues and involves liaising with various internal and external stakeholders in a representational capacity. Responsibilities of the Role Include:
Participating in the testing of digital tools for participants and providers, including planning, preparing, and conducting testing throughout various lifecycles, such as user acceptance testing (UAT) and Build Verification Testing (BVT) for product releases. Producing reports, interpreting data, and analysing results using standard statistical methods. Supporting data quality monitoring for case management systems, analysing data, and assisting in the development of FFT reporting structures. Engaging in quality management and testing assurance activities by preparing and reviewing test strategies, plans, accessible test scripts, and coverage matrices. Supporting participants, their representatives, and registered providers with UAT activities and BVT. Communicating complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Building supportive and collaborative working relationships within and across teams and engaging with technical business areas to achieve outcomes.
Essential Criteria:
Ability to plan and create Test Cases Skill in analysing Requirements and providing test case traceability Thorough understanding of Test Phases and Test Types Detailed knowledge of the Defect Management process Capability to communicate and drive key test outcomes with internal and external stakeholders Exposure to Agile Delivery methodology
Desirable Criteria:
Experience with Test automation tools such as Selenium Familiarity with automation frameworks like Cucumber Knowledge of Test Management tools like X-Ray, JIRA, or ALM Ability to define key test and defect metrics
