About the Role As the Team Leader, Health and Wellbeing in the Corporate Division, you will play a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our client's workforce.
This position offers a unique opportunity to lead initiatives that foster a positive Work Health and Safety (WHS) culture while providing specialist advice and managing complex health matters.
Your work will have a direct impact on improving employee wellbeing and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities: Provide Expert Guidance: Offer specialist advice and coaching on health matters, including injury management, return to work, and workers' compensation.Drive Wellbeing Initiatives: Lead and develop health and wellbeing programs to support a positive WHS culture across the organisation.Case Management: Manage complex health cases and ensure compliance with APS processes, including the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988.Lead a Team: Mentor and support the APS5 Health and Wellbeing Advisor to contribute to health-related activities.Develop Policies: Contribute to HR policies and procedures related to health, wellbeing, and case management.Engage Stakeholders: Build strong relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and partner agencies to ensure effective health and wellbeing strategies.Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve the organisation's health case management processes and rehabilitation systems.About You: To succeed in this role, you will need:
Experience in Health Case Management: Proven experience managing complex health matters and understanding APS health and wellbeing frameworks.Conflict Resolution Skills: Ability to handle difficult conversations and resolve issues effectively while maintaining a positive, solution-focused approach.Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to structure clear, concise messages.Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels.Flexibility & Adaptability: Comfortable with changing priorities and managing workload during uncertain times.Commitment to APS Values: A strong ethical approach, adhering to the APS Code of Conduct and demonstrating professionalism in all actions.Desirable Qualifications: Relevant HR qualifications and/or experience in health case management are beneficial but not essential.Why Work with Us?
