About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Specialist to join the Contact Centre team.
This critical role involves providing technical assistance to both internal staff and external stakeholders, offering guidance on complex enquiries related to the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act (AML/CTF Act).
As a Specialist you will directly contribute to AUSTRAC's mission by ensuring high-quality customer service and assisting in the education and outreach efforts with reporting entities across the financial, money services, and gaming sectors.
You will also mentor and provide support to staff, helping to enhance their performance and foster a collaborative team environment.
Who We Are Looking For We are looking for candidates who are passionate about regulatory compliance and have strong communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have:
A strong understanding of the AML/CTF Act and its applications.Experience in mentoring or leading teams, with a focus on customer service and technical support.Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.A proactive approach to problem-solving, with an ability to handle complex queries effectively.A minimum of 12 months experience in providing customer service in a contact centre.Why Work at AUSTRAC?
