About the Role: Our client, a federal government agency, is seeking a talented Senior Project Officer (APS 6) to support the Health Workforce Data Intelligence team. In this critical role, you will assist with the management of reviews, research initiatives, and the delivery of key project outputs, including reports, website content, and communications to various stakeholders.Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of multiple projects, including those related to procurement, contract management, and data governance initiatives. As these projects are in the early stages, you will play a key role in shaping the scope, processes, and requirements. This position requires adaptability, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage a team through evolving project needs.Key Responsibilities:Deliver projects, programs, and contracts in line with departmental policies and guidelinesManage procurement processes in accordance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules and internal policiesDevelop, implement, and monitor project plans, deliverables, and status reportsOversee contract performance and manage risk through monitoring and reviewPrepare complex project documents, including papers, presentations, and formal correspondenceAnalyze reports and proposals, formulating actionable recommendationsBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersPlan and facilitate meetings, including discussions on complex technical contentProvide leadership and mentoring to project team members, ensuring effective collaboration and project executionWhat we're looking for:Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesize data from various sourcesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities effectivelyHigh level of experience in stakeholder engagement and negotiationWhat you need to do now:If you're passionate about making a difference in Australia's health workforce and meet the above criteria, we'd love to hear from you!For more information reach out to ******
