APS6 Senior Project Officer - Data Support Our client, a large Federal Government organisation, is seeking Project Officers to join their team.

The successful candidate will be based in Canberra and will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing reporting systems and registers to ensure data integrity.

What you'll do:

Maintain and manage reporting systems and registers to ensure data integrity.
Monitor and identify data concerns, provide technical support on issues identified and manage through to resolution.
Maintain database architecture, data structures, tables, dictionaries and naming conventions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data master files.
Perform the operational establishment and preventive maintenance of backups, recovery procedures, enforcing security and integrity controls.
Effectively communicate, collaborate and negotiate with team members, business areas and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
Propose and facilitate change and contribute to business improvement strategies.
Develop and maintain Excel-based tools and templates for data collection, validation, and reporting purposes.

What you bring:

Experience in data analytics, information systems, computer science or a related field.
Expertise in Excel functions and formulas, with the ability to manipulate and analyse complex data sets.
Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
