This full-time position offers a flexible, hybrid work environment, ensuring a great work-life balance. While the role is based in Geelong, some in-office time is required. Only Australian Citizens are eligible to apply.About the RoleThe Audit and Assurance Branch provides independent and objective assurance and consulting to the Agency.They provide a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the organisation's governance, risk management and internal control processes.Key ResponsibilitiesRisk and Control Matrix (RACM) Development: Create RACM and work programs for assessments, including process flowcharts to support key processes, associated risks, and controls according to the Agency's Internal Audit (IA) methodology.Assurance Assessment Activities: Perform assurance testing by interviewing, collecting, and examining evidence against engagement criteria in line with the Agency's IA methodology.Documentation and Reporting: Document evidential observations, link them to assessment objectives, and assist in wording audit findings/issues to improve governance, risk management, and internal controls.Internal Audit Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of internal audit reports outlining findings/issues and observations.Follow-up Activities: Conduct follow-up activities to evaluate the sufficiency of evidence for closing issues according to the Agency's IA methodology.RequirementsAustralian CitizenshipAuditing experienceExperience with RACMInterested?
