Successful candidates will have the ability to cooperate, manage, lead and perform successfully across corporate and operational functions.About this opportunityThe NACC has a Non-ongoing Senior ICT Governance Officer position available for immediate filling in Canberra. This is a 12-month maternity leave replacement position.About the roleAs a key ICT coordination point and reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, the Senior ICT Governance Officer is responsible for ensuring the Commissions ICT program of work is governed in line with established and emerging frameworks. The role will work across the ICT team and beyond to ensure internal and external reporting requirements are adhered to. The position will undertake the secretariat role for ICT Committees, ensuring the work of the Committee is managed efficiently, effectively, and transparently. The Senior ICT Governance Officer will ensure that new capability requests are processed and assessed for prioritisation in a timely way. Additionally, the role will be key to ensuring the established ICT policy framework is maintained in-line with planned review cycles or sooner as required.Key activitiesAssisting in the development and management of ICT Governance Processes and structures.Working with service providers to incorporate them into NACC ICT Governance processes.Undertaking the role of secretariat for the ICT Steering Committee and other ICT Committees as required.Coordinating internal and external ICT, Cyber, IM, and Data reporting requirements.Coordinating ICT front door requests and submissions for new capability.Working with the procurement team to manage ICT software and subscription licensing.Coordinating with ICT staff and service providers on ICT Incident Management. This includes logging major incidents, coordinating post incident reviews, and ensuring post incident actions are undertaken in a timely manner.Coordinating internal audit activities with a focus on ICT.Working closely with the Manager, ICT Security and other staff to ensure the ICT Policy Framework and other key documents are regularly reviewed.Assisting in coordinating the development and testing of business continuity, disaster recovery, and risk management plans.EligibilityEmployment with the NACC is subject to the following conditions:Citizenship

– applicants must be an Australian Citizen.Security clearance

– this is a Designated Security Assessment Position. The occupant of this position will be required to undergo and maintain a security clearance to Negative Vetting 1.Suitability assessment

- the NACC must be satisfied that successful applicants are of suitable character. They must undergo a rigorous pre-employment suitability screening process that can be intrusive in nature including (but is not limited to) detailed background, character, employment, police and financial checks.Probation
