APS6 Senior Graphic Designer and EL1 Assistant Director Creative The Team ONI's Analytical Tradecraft and Product (ATP) branch manages the delivery of analytical insights to customers, ensures the quality and rigour of products, and builds organisational analytical capabilities.
The National Intelligence Academy also sits within the branch.
The Creative section within the branch brings together creative professionals and graphic designers who work together to manage ONI's brand identity and produce a wide range of material, including analytical placemats, complex visualisations, customised maps and charts, corporate documents, reports and branded templates, signage and goods.
The team consistently delivers high-quality material at pace.

The Roles The roles we are seeking to fill play important roles in providing graphics and design support to enhance ONI's intelligence products.

APS6 Senior Graphic Designer In this role, you will collaborate with analysts to develop visual concepts that strengthen and support intelligence products.
You will design and maintain a range of material including analytical placemats, maps, publications, campaign material, event collateral and Microsoft templates.
You will maintain relationships with external suppliers, including managing contracts.
In this role, you will help ONI use visual communications to deliver analytical insights to ministers and other senior customers, as well as how we represent ourselves through our brand and other published material.
You will lead a team of creative professionals and work with leaders across ONI to drive the use of graphically enriched analysis and ensure all visual content aligns with our brand identity and strategic goals.
Key Attributes For the APS6 Senior Graphic Designer role, ideal candidates would have: A sound understanding of creative design, brand identity management, visual communications, data visualisation and/or graphic design across print and digital platforms A demonstrated ability to work across a diverse range of projects and manage competing priorities and deadlines Sound negotiation, liaison and communication skills to work collaboratively with customers and team members, demonstrating both independent and team-oriented skills to deliver timely results Sound written communication skills and very good attention to detail A demonstrated record of integrity, accountability and support for organisational diversity and inclusion Relevant design or creative professional qualifications and/or experience Expert knowledge with the Adobe Creative Suite: predominately Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro Experience with one or more of the following: typography, advanced data visualisation and animation For the EL1 Assistant Director Creative role, ideal candidates would have: A strong understanding of creative design, brand identity management, visual communications, art direction, data visualisation and/or graphic design across print and digital platforms A demonstrated ability to manage a daily creative workload, including by coordinating team members and tasking to ensure project requests and designer skillsets are aligned Strong negotiation, liaison and communication skills, with the ability to work with and influence colleagues, senior organisational leaders and external partners to ensure the prioritised delivery of activities and outcomes Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail A demonstrated record of integrity, accountability and support for organisational diversity and inclusion Relevant design or creative professional qualifications and/or experience Expert knowledge with the Adobe Creative Suite: predominately Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro #J-18808-Ljbffr
