About this opportunity
The NACC has a Senior Corruption Prevention Officer position available for immediate filling and a non-ongoing vacancy for a period of 12 months in either Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney.
A merit list will be established to fill vacancies arising in the next 18 months.
About the role
The Corruption Prevention and Education Section is responsible for delivering high-quality and ongoing prevention outcomes across the Commission's jurisdiction.
These include informing national and international integrity policy development, undertaking research and analysis on corruption risks and prevention best practice, and driving the Commission's engagement and education function.
This role requires the delivery of high-quality work to tight deadlines, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a high level of initiative to manage competing priorities that support key outcomes for the Commission.
We are looking for a proactive team player with strong engagement, communication and administration skills.
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient administration of a variety of tasks and activities relating to education and stakeholder engagement.
Some travel within urban and regional settings may be required.
Key activitiesDevelopment of corruption prevention educational products and projects, strategic papers and presentations to support integrity across the broader Commonwealth public sector.Development of high-quality briefings for senior leaders to inform decision-making.Development, planning and management of stakeholder engagement activities.Research and analysis of corruption trends and vulnerabilities with a view to identifying patterns, integrity risks or vulnerabilities, and to inform the development of prevention material.Provide support to the Assistant Directors and Director, Corruption Prevention and Education as necessary, to achieve the team's objectives.Facilitating engagement, brokering collaboration and building effective partnerships with integrity partners, communities and key internal and external stakeholders.Maintaining an awareness of research, trends, developments and reforms, on anti-corruption issues affecting the Commission's jurisdiction.The NACC is a small agency.
In addition to these activities, from time to time you may be asked to undertake tasks that are outside your usual span of duties but that are within the range of your capabilities.

Eligibility
Employment with the NACC is subject to the following conditions:
Citizenship – applicants must be an Australian Citizen.Security clearance – this is a Designated Security Assessment Position.
The occupant of this position will be required to undergo and maintain a security clearance to Negative Vetting 1.Suitability assessment - the NACC must be satisfied that successful applicants are of suitable character.
