APS6 Senior Assurance Officer - Vacancy Details – Aurion Position : Organisation Unit : Location : Tenure : Closing : Synopsis : Overview of the Team and role Comcare's Technology and Information Management Team facilitates the development and implementation of organisational Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) equipment, services, and related policies to support the delivery of business outcomes.
The Senior Assurance Officer will work to deliver ICT outcomes specifically within the fields of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) and the development and operation of related policy and procedure, providing assurance to Comcare that its information assets are appropriately protected.
The Senior Assurance Officer will deliver effective and highly competent support for the establishment, management, review and administration of Comcare's ICT GRC policy and procedures and to ensure both preventive and recovery strategies are in place.
The Senior Assurance Officer will be responsible for managing the APS5 within the unit and will be responsible for the supervision of their day to day work. Overall direction and effort of the unit will be developed in conjunction with the ICT Assurance Manager.
