APS6 Senior Analyst, SharePoint AdministrationAUSTRAC is seeking a skilled Senior Analyst to join our Information and Knowledge Products team within the Innovation and Technology Solutions branch.
This crucial role will focus on supporting the phased adoption of SharePoint following the implementation of M365, ensuring it enhances collaboration, information management, and compliance across the organisation.
Based in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne or Brisbane, this position offers the opportunity to work on strategic solutions that improve digital experiences for employees and customers.

As a Senior Analyst – SharePoint Administration, your role will include: SharePoint Implementation: Supporting the phased adoption of SharePoint, including the development of a user-friendly intranet and related protocols, procedures, and training materials.Technical Support: Managing incidents and resolving advanced technical issues, collaborating with colleagues and vendor teams as needed.System Enhancements: Supporting the enhancement and maintenance of existing digital information systems in alignment with product roadmaps and organisational needs.Digital Transformation: Promoting a digital-first culture by delivering high-quality information products that streamline core business practices and meet compliance requirements.Documentation and Training: Preparing accurate documentation and delivering training to empower users and enhance adoption of SharePoint tools.Collaboration: Working with internal teams and external service providers to ensure effective implementation and support of interrelated systems, including JIRA, Confluence, and OpenText content server.This role will suit you well if you: Have a strong foundation in IT and troubleshooting, with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies.Can support and administer systems effectively, particularly with COTS solutions or SaaS products (desirable).Are skilled at collaborating with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.Can ensure systems align with AUSTRAC's information management and security policies while promoting a digital-first culture.Have experience preparing clear documentation and training materials to support end users.About Us AUSTRAC, Australia's financial intelligence agency and anti-money laundering and terrorism financing regulator, is undergoing a significant transformation to enhance its role in combating money laundering and terrorism financing.
This includes proposed expansion of its regulatory regime and a broader digital transformation to support our growing agency.
