Federal Government: APS6 Risk Advisor
Location: Geelong OR Richmond, VIC
Salary: $60.26 per hour plus super
Start Date: 10 March 2025 | Contract End: 31 December 2025

About the Role
As the APS6 Risk Advisor, you will:
Facilitate risk discussions and reviews with risk owners, applying the Risk Management Framework to identify and manage operational and project risks effectively.
Analyse trends in mitigating risks, minimising exposure, and leveraging opportunities through risk treatment plans and processes.
Support the delivery of risk management training and education programs to enhance knowledge, skills, and tools across all work areas.
Maintain collaborative relationships with risk and assurance teams to ensure effective management of shared risks and issues.
Provide administrative support for the Integrated Risk Management System (IRMS) and contribute to risk reporting for key stakeholders

Essential Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Australian Citizenship
Risk experience – facilitating risk workshops and applying Risk Management Framework to manage risks, incidents and issues.
