$91,702 - $104,753 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Various - SA, Various - QLD, Various - ACT, Various - TAS, Various - VIC, Various - NSW The Role The Directorate of Project Controls - Schedule and Cost provides support to Project and Product Managers and teams, across scheduling, cost forecasting, and earned value management.
APS 6 Project Support Officers (PSOs) will: Have a considerable level of stakeholder engagement; Provide advice and support in relation to issues affecting Defence projects; Be required to identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholders' needs and expectations to achieve Defence outcomes; Exercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of project controls policy, and in the application of practices and procedures; Provide detailed professional input into the development of policy for their respective discipline; Work independently with the opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability for the achievement of outcomes of their work; Be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.

About our Team Strategy and Planning Branch is responsible for best practice in Program, Project and Product Management and for leading and defining new ways of doing business that is responsive to Defence's future capability requirements.
The Project Control – Schedule and Cost team are leading improvements in Project Controls policy and systems to strengthen Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG's) Project Controls environment.
